Built on the classical architectural scheme of a roman city, Orange was generously endowed with public buildings. As a city of art and history, Orange has an amazingly rich heritage. You will be able to admire its private townhouses, its Triumph Arch (26-27 AD) and the Theatre Antique, the best maintained Roman Theater in the world. Today, it is still a place of cultural manifestations, as it welcomes thousands of spectators every year in the summer, in particular during the Choregies, the famous opera festival.
