Sablet (84) - Walks in Avignon and around

Sablet is located at the bottom of the Dentelles de Montmirail, west of the Ventoux. The village is built on a small hill in the middle of the Comtadine plain.
Sablet is an authentic provencal village. In the heart of Sablet, you will discover shady and flowery picturesque streets, beam-supported covered passageways, fountains, and houses curled up around the tower bell of the Saint Nazaire church. You will also notice the very peculiar architecture of Sablet: it is a round village with streets circling around the Saint Nazaire Church. The entire village is surrounded by wall and tower fortifications from the 14th century.

Sablet is also renown for its wineries, located in the green hills around the village.
