Exposition Miquel Barcelo, Terra-Mare

The event of the summer in Avignon will be the big exhibition of the Catalan artist Miquel Barceló which will occupy 3 major places of the city: popes' Palace, the Collection Lambert (on the occasion of its 10th birthday) and the museum of the Petit Palais.
The Collection Lambert will present a set of works of the 2000s, among which most were never explained, essentially paintings, big works on paper and a selection of journey diaries, whereas in the Popes' Palace, tan, ceramic and the other monumental installations will invest the square, the Big Chapel and the court of the Old Palace.
Finally, to prolong this event, the museum of the Petit Palais, the real case dedicated to the medieval and Gothic art, will welcome a set of works of conquest, religious paints and polychromatic sculptures come from the museum of Palma which they had still never left.
